Taking on suburbia
Well we are moving to jordan!... Back to a little civilization, no more mudding, sliding, tearing pickups apart to get home at 1 or 2 in the morning from going to buy groceries. This could be a good thing, if only i can find a job, and where to put a futurity barrel horse come the end of may...Big decision, big move, big rewards i guess. Not looking forward to only a wood stove for heat. Im kinda partial to my central air. But that way we arent spending soo much time out of our lives to be continuously driving. It could be good, we'll just have to see :)
P.S the neighbors little wind doohickie, it is comming down.
Dear neighbor...you might want to protect the poor thing, cause the next time i hear it squealing as its rotating in the wind, im going to shoot it.

Winter & This morning
So this morning, dean gets stuck walks about a mile to my house. We get in my pickup going to go get the new tractor from his house, get about a mile out get stuck...Walk back to the house. Lovely way to start a lovely day :) Then we had to wait, and it took two tractors to get plowed into the house and back out. I heart winter. :)

3 year olds
3 yr old horses i mean. Yesterday, after getting the tractor started, and waiting for hours for the hydraulics to warm up i finally get a bale picked up, and travel back around to the gate to the lot behind my house. When i get there i realize i'm going to have to plow to get through the gate. Accomplished. Then i finally get the gate squeezed open the other way so i could continue to plow so i could put my bale in. No sooner than i crawl up in the tractor using a method that i pulled my hamstring doing, beings there is no ladder now...Thanks to a certain someone. My 3yr old colt, the only one i have at home right now decides he is going to make a break for it...To where i have no idea cause our house and yard are completely barricaded by about a 15 foot wall of snow. Literally. So he takes off and hits the only icy spot in the drive way and goes zippin across it spread eagle with his head down, eyes bugged out. He finally gets stopped, and slowly tries to start backing up. He makes it off the ice, and the whole time i am watching this i am freezing, because this lovely piece of equipment also does not have a door. He turns around and walks right back into the lot, and stands there patiently waiting for me to drop the bale. Now tell me horses don't have good sense. Oh and by the time i finally got this stupid tractor put away i could no longer feel my legs, and my feet had that eerie warmth to them. The whole way back from the barn i had to make a conscious effort to move my legs. I LOVE EASTERN MT WINTERS :)
I finally have a blog
After thinkin about having a blog for a long time i have finally decided i should have one of my own and subscribe to everyone elses. I have also not gone out of the house today. I refuse to go back out until it warms up. Study study study.
